    • To prevent organ rejection in patients receiving a liver, kidney, or heart transplant
    • To prevent rejection in other types of organ transplants (such as cornea, pancreas) or bone marrow transplant
    • To treat other conditions that are affected by the body's immune system (such as Crohn's disease, rheumatoid arthritis, plaque psoriasis)
    • Serve atopic dermatitis, chronic autoimmune urticaria
    8 to 12 mg/kg/day orally in 2 divided doses or as directed by Physician

    Description

    Product Description :

    It is used to prevent the body from rejecting a new organ after a liver, kidney, heart transplant, or bone marrow transplantation. It weakens the immune system so that your body does not attack the new organ. It is also used to treat nephrotic syndrome, severe rheumatoid arthritis, and psoriasis.

    Working Mechanism :

    It works by suppressing your body’s immune response to help accept a newly transplanted organ (e.g., liver, kidney, or heart). In rheumatoid arthritis, this immunosuppressive effect reduces inflammation (swelling) of joints and limits joint damage. In psoriasis, it works by reducing the activity of certain immune cells that cause overproduction of skin cells, thus improving scaling and redness.
