1.125 gm : Above 12 years - 1-2 g injection twice daily
281.25 mg & 562.5 mg : Below 12 years - 20-80 mg /kg body weight in equally divided doses twice daily

Mechanism of Action :
Cefmac-TZ 1.125 gm Injection is a combination of two medicines: Ceftriaxone and Tazobactum. Ceftriaxone is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Tazobactum is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Ceftriaxone against bacteria.
