Labetalol 5 mg / ml
Antihypertensive
4 ml clear ring ampoule in tray 2 x 4 ml with outer carton
- Hypertension | Angina pectoris
- Pregnancy induced hypertension
Adult: Initially, 100 mg bid, may increase gradually according to patients response to 200-400 mg bid. Max: 2.4 g/day in 2-4 divided doses.
Elderly: Initially, 50-100 mg bid. Maintenance: 100-200 mg bid

Labetag Injection is a medicine used in the urgent treatment of hypertensive emergency (severely increased blood pressure). It also helps to treat severe hypertension in pregnancy, when rapid control of blood pressure is essential.

Labetag Injection is generally given under the supervision of a doctor or a nurse and should not be self-administered. The doctor will decide the dose and duration of the treatment.
Mechanism of Action :
Labetag Injection is an alpha and beta blocker. It works by slowing down the heart rate and relaxing blood vessels which makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood around the body.
