    Cefmac Plus 750 mg Injection

    Ceftriaxone 500 mg & Sulbactam 250 mg
    Antibiotic | Anti-Infective
    10 ml vial with 10 ml WFI & insert in mono carton
    • Bacterial Meningitis| Septicemia and Bacteraemia
    • MDR Typhoid | Bone and Joint infections
    • LRTI'S | Post-Surgical infections | UTI’S and SSTI’S
    • Gastroenteritis | Nosocomial Pneumonia
    • Surgical prophylaxis
    1 gm once daily via deep IM or slow IV injection over atleast 2-4 min, intermittent IV infusion over at least 30 min Children (<12 yr) - 20 to 50 mg /kg once daily, can be increased to 80 mg / kg in severe infection or as directed by Physician

    Mechanism of Action :

    Ceftriaxone is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Sulbactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Ceftriaxone against bacteria.
