Aztreorid 1 gm Injection is an antibiotic used to prevent or treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. This may include infections of the urinary tract, blood, brain, ear, skin, and soft tissue, abdomen, bone, windpipe and lungs.
Aztreorid 1 gm Injection is given as a drip (intravenous infusion) or as an injection directly into a vein or a muscle under the supervision of a healthcare professional.

Mechanism of Action :
Aztreorid 1 gm Injection is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.
