Ceftriaxone 250 mg

7.5 ml vial with 5 ml WFI & insert in mono carton
- Meningitis | Intra-abdominal Infections
- Bacteraemia | Bone and Joint Infections
- Septicemia | Post-operative conditions
- UTI’s and SSI’s | STD’s | Typhoid fever
- Pneumonia
1 gm once daily via deep IM or slow IV injection over atleast 2-4 min, intermittent IV infusion over at least 30 min
Children (<12 yr) - 20 to 50 mg /kg once daily, can be increased to 80 mg / kg in severe infection
or as directed by Physician

Mechanism of Action :
Cefmac 250 mg Injectionis an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall), which is needed for them to survive.
