Libzide Plus Tablets belongs to a group of medicines called antipsychotics used to treat schizophrenia. Schizophrenia is a medical condition in which the person may feel, hear or see things that are not there, believe things that are not true, or feel unusually suspicious or confused

Mechanism of Action :
Trifluoperazine blocks the action of a chemical messenger called dopamine that affects mood and thoughts. Chlordiazepoxide increases the action of a chemical messenger called GABA that suppresses abnormal activity in the brain.
