Pileclear Plus Ointment is a combination medicine used in the treatment of piles. It relieves the pain, swelling, itching, and discomfort associated with the passing of stools in people who suffer from problems in the anal area.

Mechanism of Action :
Pileclear Plus Ointment is a combination of six medicines: Troxerutin, Calcium Dobesilate, Lignocaine, Hydrocortisone, Zinc Oxide and Phenylephrine. Troxerutin and Calcium Dobesilate are vasoprotective medicines which strengthen the blood vessels in the affected area and promote healing. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic which blocks pain signals from the nerves to brain thereby decreasing pain sensation. Hydrocortisone is a steroid which reduces redness, itching, and swelling. Zinc Oxide has astringent and antiseptic action. Phenylephrine is a decongestant that shrinks the swollen blood vessels to further relieve itching and irritation in piles.
