Mechanism of Action :
Saliwin Lotion consists of two medicines: coal tar and salicylic acid, both work together to treat psoriasis by addressing the underlying causes. Coal tar decreases skin cells' rapid proliferation, decreasing scaling and inflammation in psoriatic plaques. Salicylic acid plays a supporting role in the process by softening and dissolving the thick, scaly patches and enhancing skin texture. Combined, these agents can help lower the psoriasis symptoms, promote softer skin, and allow the skin’s natural repair process.
