Timolol maleate 0.5% and Benzalkonium Chloride 0.2% is a commonly used eye drop combination primarily used to manage elevated intraocular pressure, particularly in cases of open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension

Direction For Use :
- This medicine is for external use only.
- Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.
- Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it.
- Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid.
- Wipe off the extra liquid.
Mechanism of Action :
Timolol maleate active ingredient works by reducing the production of aqueous humor (fluid in the eye). By decreasing fluid production, it lowers intraocular pressure, which can damage the optic nerve and lead to vision loss. Benzalkonium Chloride his is a preservative that helps prevent bacterial growth in the eye drop solution.
