Mechanism of Action :
The combination of spironolactone and torsemide increases the production of urine from the kidneys, effectively reducing excess fluid levels in the body. This helps alleviate oedema (swelling) linked to heart, liver, kidney, or lung diseases. By doing so, it decreases the heart's workload and enhances its efficiency in pumping blood throughout the body. As a result, it also aids in lowering high blood pressure, which can reduce the risk of future heart attacks, strokes, or angina (chest pain).
