    Adult: 0.5-1 g 8 hrly via IV inj over approx 3-5 min or infused over approx 15-30 min. Child: ≥3 mth ≤50 kg: 10 or 20 mg/kg 8 hrly via IV inj over approx 3-5 min or infused over approx 15-30 min or as directed by Physician

    Maytag 500 mg Injection is a broad-spectrum antibiotic containing Meropenem known to fight against severe infections of the skin, lungs, stomach, urinary tract, blood, and brain.

    Direction For Use :

    • Maytag 500 mg Injection is generally given under the supervision of a doctor or a nurse and should not be self-administered.
    • The doctor will decide the dose and duration of the treatment.

    Mechanism of Action :

    Maytag 500 mg Injection is an antibiotic that contains Meropenem. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.
