Zaxatag-M Tablets is used for type 2 diabetes, where the body either does not produce enough insulin or the insulin produced is unable to perform its function (insulin resistance). Middle-aged or older individuals are most likely to suffer from type 2 diabetes, which is also known as adult-onset diabetes.

Mechanism of Action :
Saxagliptin works by inhibiting DPP-4 (dipeptidyl peptidase-4), which increases insulin release and decreases glucose production in the liver.Metformin improves the sensitivity of body tissues to insulin and reduces the amount of glucose produced by the liver, helping to lower blood sugar levels.
